Tyler Limmer

Tyler Limmer (NWC '19) came on staff in the fall of 2019 after a standout playing career for the Red Raiders, joining Dan Swier's staff as a graduate assistant. After spending four years as a graduate assistant (2019-22), Limmer joined the men's soccer staff as the program's first-ever full-time assistant coach in August 2023.

In his four seasons on the staff, the Raiders have compiled an overall record of 42-26-7 (.553), earning a share of the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) regular season title and a berth in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) tournament in 2021. Additionally, in his time as graduate assistant, Limmer ran the junior varsity program. 

Aside from his coaching pursuits, Limmer was a member of Duluth FC in 2023. His team went 11-1-1 and advanced to the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) conference final. Furthermore, he has spent two playing seasons for the Sioux Falls Thunder in the NPSL (2017) and for the Des Moines Menace in the United Soccer League - League 2 (USL2) (2018).

A 2019 graduate of Northwestern College, Limmer was a four-time All-Conference performer and is the program's all-time leader in goals (53) and assists (26). Originally from Brandon, South Dakota, Limmer holds a bachelor's degree in sport management.
