Maria (Fruechte) Rozeboom joined Northwestern athletics in August of 2020 as a member of NWC's athletic performance staff.
She currently oversees athletic performance training of football, men's and women's soccer, wrestling, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's tennis, and women's basketball. She also works closely with the Northwestern strength and conditioning students who gain experience working with Red Raider student-athletes.
While a student at Winona State University (Minn.), Rozeboom had strength and conditioning internships at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Winona State, and the Mayo Health Systems.
Rozeboom graduated from Winona State University (Minn.) in 2018 with a degree in Exercise Science and a Nutrition minor, while playing volleyball for the Warriors at the National College Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II level. In 2020, she earned her M.S. degree in Education Leadership and Sports Management, also from Winona State while serving as a strength and conditioning graduate assistant for the Warriors athletic department.
Rozeboom and her husband, Trevor - a former Red Raider football player - in December 2022.
