van Beek was hired to join the cheer and dance coaching staff in 2023 after previously serving as a volunteer assistant.
"I'm very thankful for the opportunity to continue working with Taylor and the amazing athletes in these programs," van Beek said. "There is a lot of talent on both teams, so I look forward to being able to help them grow both as athletes and as followers of Christ."
A member of Northwestern's first-ever varsity cheer team, she was a team captain and choreographer for the Raiders. She was a flyer for the Raiders for four years, being an instrumental part of the first two years of the competitive team's existence.
