Prior to Northwestern: transfers to Northwestern after attending the University of Washington for one year.

High School: two-year career playing for the Lynden Christian High School football team; earned all-state honors at linebacker and was a first team all-conference selection at both linebacker and offensive line after the 2019 season; totaled 216 tackles, 9.5 quarterback sacks and four forced fumbles.
