How It Happened
Northwestern secured a 3-2 win over Baker in an elimination game at Open Space Park, highlighted by a decisive two-run fifth inning.

The sides remained scoreless through the first two innings. Baker added pressure in the top of the third inning with a home run to left, striking first for the 1-0 lead. Northwestern responded in the bottom of the third when Ashtyn Billings scored on an RBI double from Gwen Mikkelsen, leveling the score at 1–1.

In the fifth inning, the Raiders capitalized on defensive errors by Baker. Charli Bomgaars reached base on an error and later scored. Sydney Jacobs also reached base on a throwing error and crossed home plate on a sacrifice bunt by Mikkelsen, pushing the Red Raiders ahead 3–1 after the fifth.

The Wildcats put runners on first and second, scoring one and threatening to tie late in the seventh. Then, with two on and one away, Cassidy Gors stabbed a line drive and caught the runner at second to end the game.

How It Happened
Marian advanced to the NAIA World Series with a 10-2 win over the Raiders in the second game of the day.

In the rematch of Tuesday's contest, Marian took an early lead with four runs on four hits, marking an aggressive start. The Raiders held Marian scoreless in the second and third innings, with standout defensive plays halting the Knights' momentum.

The Raiders responded in the third when Gwen Mikkelsen sneaked a double down the left field line, driving in Charli Bomgaars from second to cut the deficit to 4-1.

Marian widened its lead in the fourth with three runs, extending the advantage to 7-1 with time dwindling down for Northwestern.

The Raiders added another run in the fifth inning as Mikkelsen drew a bases-loaded walk, but the Knights' defense stranded three baserunners to extinguish the Northwestern rally attempt.
