Football Collects Five CSC Academic All-District Selections

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Five Northwestern football student-athletes have been recognized with College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors. Ben Egli, Drake Harder, Korver Hupke, Parker Fryar, and Trystin Voss are Northwestern's honorees, receiving accolades for their work on the field and in the classroom.

Egli, a junior finance major from Fort Dodge, Iowa, earned Second Team All-Conference accolades this season. Starting all 12 games on one of the top defenses in the NAIA, he totaled 64 tackles with 7.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and one interception. Egli was also named the GPAC Defensive Player of the Week on November 11.

Harder, a senior exercise science and sport management major from Bingham Lake, Minnesota, recorded 29 tackles from the defensive line for the Raiders. He also had four tackles for loss and three sacks on the year, finishing his career above the 100-tackle threshold.

Hupke, a sophomore biology major from Independence, Iowa, started all 12 games on the offensive line and set the tone for Northwestern's offensive attack. He received Second Team All-GPAC honors, his first career all-conference selection.

Fryar, a senior biology major from Waukee, Iowa, was named a unanimous All-American and was the GPAC Defensive Player of the Year in his return to the Raiders in 2024. In 12 starts this season, Fryar recorded a team-high 109 tackles, including 10 tackles for loss and a sack. He also intercepted a pass, had three pass breakups, and forced two fumbles. Fryar ends his career in second on Northwestern's total tackles list (451).

Voss, a junior actuarial science and finance major from Rogersville, Missouri, had the best season of his career. He received First Team All-GPAC honors on the interior defensive line, leading the team in tackles for loss (13) and sacks (7.0). Voss also recovered a fumble and picked up 52 tackles on the year.

Fryar and Voss will be placed among the nominees for CSC Academic All-America teams, voted on by members of the organization. Academic All-America teams will be announced on Tuesday, January 28.
