Raiders Drop GPAC Road Match

OMAHA, Neb. – College of Saint Mary pulled away in the second half to hand the Raiders a loss on the road, taking down Northwestern 5-2.

After the Flames scored the first goal of the day, Kylie Baccam tied it up at 1-1 near the 23' mark. CSM would answer, however, minutes later to take a 2-1 lead into the break.

Trailing 3-1 with 25 minutes to play, Avril Baccam drew a penalty kick and converted on her seventh goal of the year to make the score 3-2. The Flames closed strong, adding two insurance goals to put the game out of reach late.

GAME NOTES Up Next: The Raiders are back in action for Homecoming as they take on Hastings on Saturday, October 5. Kickoff is set for 5:00 p.m. at the NWC Soccer Complex.
