The Raiders put up six runs in the first inning, as Chloe Gallegos hit a one-out RBI single with runners at the corners to score the first run of the game. Two appearances later, Gwen Mikkelsen extended the lead with a double, scoring two runs. Randi Childress then sent two runners home with a triple before the Raiders took a 6-0 lead on an error.

Northwestern added to its lead in the third, with Childress again getting an RBI, this time on a double that brought Mikkelsen in from second. Later in the inning, Maddie Kvatek doubled to send Ashtyn Billings across the plate. Kameryn Etherington continued the scoring by hitting her second home run of the season, a two-run shot to make the score 11-0.

In the bottom of the fourth, the Raiders added one more run on a bases-loaded hit batter to bring their total to 12, ending the game on the 10-run mercy rule after five innings.
