Men’s Soccer Plays to Draw on Saturday

ORANGE CITY, Iowa – Jannes Kuehn scored his first career goal and the game-tying goal as Northwestern played 90 minutes of even soccer, drawing 2-2 with Hastings.

Alex Ruiz put the Raiders on the board first, scoring with less than three minutes played as he raced down the line and put the ball in on the pass from Miller Rojas.

Hastings answered 10 minutes later and took its first lead of the game at 42', holding a slight advantage at the break.

It was then Kuehn who joined the scoring column, firing a rocket from the left side into the back corner to even the score with 34 minutes to play.
