ORANGE CITY, Iowa – The Northwestern College women's soccer team (5-10-1, 3-7-1 GPAC) dropped the final regular season home match of the year to No. 23-ranked Hastings College (13-1-2, 8-1 GPAC) 3-0 at the NWC Soccer Complex.

The No. 23-ranked Broncos struck early in the match when in the third minute Naomi Pedroza found the back of the net to make it 1-0 Hastings. The Broncos would score again in the 26th minute to double their lead at 2-0.

Following the second Bronco goal, Northwestern had their first true look at goal with a shot from Julie Dunlap (Sr., Des Moines, Iowa) in the 32nd minute. The Raiders had an opportunity right before the half as Marissa Talamantes (Fr., Marshall, Minn.) had a look on-goal, but the Hastings keeper was able to secure it to keep it 2-0 Hastings at the break.
