Lind Earns Three Wins at Missouri Valley Invite

MARSHALL, Mo. – Northwestern brought their wrestlers to the Missouri Valley Invite this weekend, facing competition from across the region in the two-day event.

Kaleb Lind (So., Lindenhurst, Ill.) led the Raiders in wins on the day, compiling a 3-2 record and reaching the fifth round of the consolation bracket. After dropping his first contest, Lind rattled off three victories in a row, defeating an opponent by fall and two by decision. Lind picked up his team-leading ninth pin of the season and had a 23-7 match points advantage in the wins.

Also winning multiple matches today was Luke Jenness (Sr., Primghar, Iowa). Despite taking a medical forfeit in the fifth consolation round, Jenness picked up two decisions to move his season wins total to 19.

Other Raiders to pick up wins this weekend included: Manuel Jaramillo (Sr., Selma, Calif.), Noah Parmelee (Fr., Sioux City, Iowa), Cade Braun (Fr., Corona, Calif.), and Braeden Campbell (Fr., Lees Summit, Mo.).

Up Next: Northwestern will kick off a busy week hosting Morningside in a home dual on Wednesday, January 25. The opening bout will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Bultman Center.
