The Northwestern College men's soccer team lost its second straight game, falling 1-0 to Viterbo in the final match of the regular season. The Raiders begin GPAC Tournament play next weekend (April 10) with an 11-5 record.Â
Scoreless after the first half, Viterbo capitalized on a Raider miscue to score the only goal just five minute into the second period, during the 50th minute.Â
Northwestern had the statistical advantage in shots on goal (9-6) and corner kicks (8-4);
James Bolger paced the Raider offensive attack with three shots on goal while Brennan Haggery contributed two.Â
Ezekiel Foltz recorded six saves.
Northwestern will host Concordia in the GPAC Quarterfinals on April 10.
