Game Recap: Women's Soccer | | "The" SID Office

Raiders, William Penn Play to 1-1 Draw

Northwestern College and William Penn played to a 1-1, double overtime draw in a non-conference women's soccer match played today on Drost Field in Oskaloosa, Iowa. 

Northwestern concludes its 2020-21 season with a 5-8-2 overall record. 

The host Statesmen went ahead with a goal during the 27th minute by Kaitlin Falaney off an assist by Iris Navarro. Northwestern netted the equalizer early in the second half when Kailey Heemskerk found the back of the net from assists by Anna Van Zee and Julie Dunlap.

April Van Tol stopped three William Penn shots in the first half; Abby Bastian recorded two saves during the final half and overtime periods.
