Daniel Hinds (Le Mars, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his wrestling career at Northwestern College.

Hinds has accumulated 79 wins in his four years competing for the LeMars Community High School wrestling program. Hinds has 46 career pins and went 21-14 in his final season with the Bulldogs. A member of the honor roll and National Honor Society, Hinds plans to study Pre-Engineering at Northwestern. He is the son of Dave and Heather.

"It has been fun watching Daniel develop over the last five years as part of our Zapas program," commented Northwestern Head Coach Rik Dahl. "Daniel has a desire to improve and we trust that his growth will continue over the next four years."

"I chose Northwestern because of its Zapas wrestling camp," said Hinds. "Working with Coach Dahl and within the program, I just know that Northwestern is the right place for me."
