Men's Soccer Comes Up Short Against Concordia

Raiders are now 2-2 on the season

Northwestern College fell short in its conference match-up against Concordia 4-0 played today in Seward, Neb. The Raiders dropped its second straight game and are now 0-2 in the GPAC, 2-2 overall; Concordia earned its fourth consecutive win, improving to 4-1.

Ezekiel Foltz accounted for four saves and Northwestern totaled five shots on goal, two by Brennan Haggerty and one each for Jake Foscalina, Jonas Tiensvold and Joshua Wingfield.

Northwestern trailed 1-0 at the break, giving up a goal to Bulldogs midfielder Garrett Perry during the 16th minute. Concordia scored its second goal just seconds into the second half on a shot by Moises Jacobo, the reigning GPAC Player of the Week. Perry netted the final two goals for the Bulldogs, recording the hat-trick on a successful shot during th1 81st minute off an assist by Trenton Williams.
