Game Time...The 2020 season continues for the Northwestern Men's soccer team as they head to Seward, Neb. this weekend for a match against Concordia. The conference match is set to start at 3:30pm. The Raiders are 0-1 in conference play, 2-1 overall; Concordia has won three straight and comes in with a 1-0 GPAC mark, 3-1 overall.Â

All-Time...Northwestern and Concordia have played at least once per year since the first match-up in 1995. Northwestern leads the all-time series 17-13-2 but is just 3-6-1 over the last 10 match-ups. Last year, the Raiders were defeated by Concordia 3-1.

Following a 3-1 loss to Bellevue in its season opener on Sept. 9, Concordia has rattled off three straight wins and outscored opponents 10-2. A 2-1 win over MidAmerica Nazarene was followed by a 4-0 win against Kansas Wesleyan and a 4-1 win against Dordt in its GPAC opener. Moises Jacobo netted a hat-trick against Dordt.
Weides owns the most wins in program history, guiding the Bulldogs to a 117-89-24 in his 13 seasons on the sideline. The former letterwinner has led his alma-mater to nine straight 10+ win seasons, including a 10-6-2 mark last year. Six starters return from last year's team that finished sixth in the GPAC with a 5-4-2 record.
