Tirzah Wittenberg (Pella, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her running career at Northwestern College this fall.

Wittenberg earned a combined seven letters running for the Pella High School cross country and track and field teams. Wittenberg is an academic all-state selection and has personal bests of 2:27 in the 800m, 5:28 in the 1500m and 20:42 in the 5K. She plans to study Nursing at Northwestern and is the daughter of Craig and Angela.

"We are excited to have Tirzah run for our cross country and track programs," commented Northwestern Head Coach Scott Bahrke. "She comes to our team after competing for one of the top programs in the state (Pella High School). Tirzah will be a great addition to our squad."
