Mo Watson (Ankeny, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College this fall.

Watson is a 5'10", 195-pound safety who played three years for Ankeny High School. Watson finished second on the team with 53 tackles and accounted for 1.5 quarterback sacks and two fumble recoveries in leading his team to the state quarterfinals last fall. He earned second team all-conference honors for the second consecutive year and compiled 117 total stops for his career. Watson earned all-academic recognition and plans to study Business / Finance at Northwestern. He is the son of Chad and Shannon.

"Mo is an athletic safety who was impact player for Ankeny High School," stated Northwestern Head Coach Matt McCarty. "He possesses good football instincts and is also a strong tackler. We are excited to add Mo to our secondary."
