Schutt Earns All-American Distinction For All-NAIA Ball

Drew Schutt was named 

2nd team All-American by

All-NAIA Ball 

Drew Schutt, a senior infielder for the Red Raider baseball team, has been named to the All-NAIA Ball All-American team. A consistent source of NAIA baseball coverage, NAIA Ball is the only organization to release All-American teams this season due to the CoVID pandemic; a total of 28 players were selected from all of the NAIA institutions across the country.

Schutt was one of the top hitters in the conference 

for the last two seasons; ranking among the GPAC's 

top 10 in eight statistical categories on 

offense this season.

Schutt was one of 14 players named to the second team and one of two players from the Great Plains Athletic Conference (Jason Munsch-Concordia) recognized on either the 1st / 2nd team.

Schutt was among the GPAC's leading hitters in the shortened 2020 season, ranking first in runs (24), hits (32), doubles (11), RBIs (34) and total bases (55). He was tied for fifth in home runs (4), eighth in slugging percentage (.714) and ninth in batting average (.416. Schutt was a second team all-conference pick as a junior.
