"We are super excited to get Manny on board," commented head coach Rik Dahl. "He is a tenacious hand fighter from one of the best programs in the state of California. We have patiently waiting for him to find his home at Northwestern, and now that he has, we look forward to see what the next four years will look like! He pursuit of excellence doesn't stop on the mat. We look forward to see him crush in the classroom as he pursues a degree in kinesiology."

Manny has been a seven time Principal's Honor Roll member while at Selma High School. He plans to study Exercise Science and Kinesiology while at Northwestern.
