Klahsen to Wrestle at Northwestern

Nathan Klahsen (Aplington, Iowa) has signed his letter of intent to continue his wrestling career at Northwestern in 2020-21.

Klahsen, 138 pound wrestler in high school, was 51-53 overall in his four year career. He is a four year letter winner and had three 3rd place finishes at sectionals. He also had one second place finish at sectionals his senior year. He recorded 45 career pins out of his 51 career wins.

"Nathan is a young man we are excited about," commented head coach Rik Dahl. "He will add depth to our line up at 141/149 pounds, but more than that, he is the kind of young man we love to build around. He is a young guy with many gifts and he'll make us a better team!"

Klahsen is a National Honor Society member, a NICL Academic All-Conference winner, and was an Honor Roll member for all four years in high school. He is planning to study Youth Ministry / Worship Arts while at Northwestern.
