Gatterman Chooses Northwestern

Davis Gatterman (Lynden, Wash.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College in the fall.

Gatterman is a 5'10", 190-pound linebacker / offensive lineman who played three years for Lynden Christian High School. Gatterman compiled 74 total stops and three quarterback sacks in leading his team to a state runner-up finish and an 11-2 record. He received first team all-league honors and has been part of the honor roll the last three years. Gatterman plans to major in Criminal Justice at Northwestern and is the son of Steve Gatterman and Kim Ryskamp.

"Davis is an athletic, physical linebacker who made a ton of big plays throughout his career," said Northwestern Head Coach Matt McCarty. "He has been coached well and has been part of successful teams. Davis is a hard worker who understands the game well and we are excited to add Davis to our defense."
