Parker Johnson (Grinnell, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

Johnson is a 5'10", 175-pound defensive back who played two years for Grinnell High School. Johnson filled up the stat sheet with 22.5 tackles, three interceptions and a forced fumble in leading his team to a 6-3 record last fall. He earned all-district honors and is a member of the honor roll. Johnson plans to study physical therapy and nutrition at Northwestern and is the son of Eric and Marlene.

"Parker is an athletic defensive back with good football instincts," commented Northwestern Head Coach Matt McCarty. "He has good foot work and is a very strong tackler. We are excited to have Parker join our Red Raider football team."
