Kameryn Etherington (
Algona, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her softball career at Northwestern College.
Etherington is a 5'5" pitcher who has played four years for the Algona High School softball team heading into her final season this summer. Etherington earned first team all-state honors after leading Algona to its first state tournament appearance in school history, finishing with an 18-11 record. She hit a team-best .405 with 11 doubles, six home runs and 30 RBIs while also posting a 13-9 record and 1.57 earned run average in the circle last summer. She accounted for 211 strikeouts against just 32 walks, in 156 innings pitched. She is a four-time all-conference and all-area selection while also being a nominee for the USSSA All-State Showcase. Also a state qualifier in track and field, Etherington is a member of the National Honor Society and plans to major in Accounting at Northwestern. She is the daughter to Ryan and Kim.

Shane Bouman. "Kameryn had a phenomenal season last summer, both at the plate and in the circle. She has experienced great success in high school and we look for that success to continue at the next level."
