Jacob Davies (
Brandon, Wis.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College this fall.
Davies is a 6'0", 175-pound athlete who played three years for the Laconia High School football team. Davies averaged nearly seven yards per carry while scoring seven touchdowns as a running back, and totaled 72 tackles, eight for a loss, and 3 interceptions on defense. He earned first team all-conference honors at defensive back, second team accolades at running back, and was named the team's most valuable player. Davies helped lead his team to the state playoffs last fall and earned all-district honors as a defensive back as both a sophomore and junior. A member of the National Honor Society, Davies plans to major in Accounting at Northwestern. He is the son of Jamison and Tawnya.

Matt McCarty. "He made impact plays on both sides of the ball throughout his high school career. We are excited to have Jacob become a Red Raider; he has a bright future both on and off the field at Northwestern."
