Elijah Leonhardt (
Sioux Falls, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his wrestling career at Northwestern College.
Leonhardt currently has an 8-3 record with seven pins in his fourth and final season wrestling for Roosevelt High School. Leonhardt is a two-time state qualifier, competing at state his freshman and junior seasons, and has a 60-72 overall record with 30 pins. He earned all-conference honors and is projected to wrestler at 149 at Northwestern. Leonhardt plans to study math at Northwestern and is the son of Ted and Kris.
"Elijah is exactly the kind of young man we are looking for in our program; hard working, committed and looking to get a great education," said Northwestern head coach
Rik Dahl. "We look for good things from Elijah and are excited for his future as a Raider."
