Game Time...The Northwestern College men's soccer team returns to competition for the first time in 12 days as they play a road match against Dakota Wesleyan on Thursday, Oct. 8. Game time in Mitchell, S.D. is set for 5pm.
The Raiders have lost two straight games, both in conference play, and comes into Thursday's road match with a 2-2 record. Dakota Wesleyan is 1-2 in the conference, 2-3 overall.

All-Time...Northwestern holds a 9-6 advantage in the all-time series, dating back to its first match-up during the 2006 season. The Raiders have won seven straight in the rivalry, including a 6-0 win last season in Orange City.

DWU has alternated wins, losses in its five games played this season for a 1-2 conference record, 2-3 overall. They lost to Concordia 2-0 last time out (Oct.3) and earned their last win on Sept. 30 against Dordt (2-0). The Tigers have also lost to Briar Cliff and Hastings and owns a 1-0 win against Viterbo in non-conference play.
Hired in July of 2020, Pulido is in his first season as the Tigers head coach after serving in an assistant role last year. Pulido also has coaching stints at Columbus High School and Central Community College. He inherits a DWU team that returns eight players who started at least one game for the Tigers in 2019 where they finished 10th in the GPAC with a 2-8-1 record, 4-10-2 overall.
