Scouting Reports...
Doane Tigers: 3-5 (GPAC and overall)          Head Coach: Jeff Voigt (9th year)
With three matches left in the regular season, Doane currently occupies the eighth spot in the GPAC standings with a 3-5 record. They hold the final spot in the GPAC postseason tournament (held in the spring). They have split their last two matches, defeating Dordt (4-2) but losing to Concordia (5-1) in a game played Wednesday in Seward, Neb.
Hired to coach both the Doane's women's and men's programs in 2012, Voigt is in his ninth season as the men's coach, giving up the women's coaching duties in 2014. The former club coach and assistant at Bellevue (1995-97) guided the Doane women to the national tournament in his first season (2012). Last year, Voigt's team went 3-7-1 and tied Mount Marty for eighth place in the GPAC, 4-13-1 overall. Eight starters and 12 players return from last year's team.
