The Event...The Northwestern College men's track and field team will compete at a two-day meet, the Dennis Young Invite, this weekend on the campus of Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. On Friday, Jan. 31, the multi-events will take place, beginning at 4pm; Saturday's competition begins with the conclusion of the multi's at 9am, followed by field events at 10am and running events at 11:30am.

Teams Competing...Northwestern is one of eight teams scheduled to compete this weekend, joining Briar Cliff, Buena Vista, Dordt, Grand View, Morningside, Waldorf and Southwestern Community College.

NAIA Qualifiers...

Justus Adams met the provisional mark in the 60m hurdles last week at SDSU; Adams currently has the 16th fastest time in the NAIA.

James Gilbert met the provisional mark in the long jump at the BVU Early Bird; he has the 17th best mark in the NAIA.
