Tyrae Johnson (Custer, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her track and field career at Northwestern College next fall.

Johnson is a 5'5" sprinter who has competed four years for the Custer High School track and field team heading into her final season this spring. Johnson qualified for the state meet multiple years and placed in the 200m and sprint med. A member of the honor roll, Johnson plans to major in Biology / Health Professions at Northwestern.

"We are excited to add Tyrae to our sprints crew at Northwestern," commented Northwestern Head Coach Scott Bahrke. "She is a talented sprinter who has outstanding work ethic and is a great teammate. Tyrae is a great addition to our track and field squad."
