Micah Van Kalsbeek (
Sioux Falls, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her running career at Northwestern College next fall.

Van Kalsbeek earned a combined 13 letters competing in cross country, track and field and cheerleading for Sioux Falls Christian High School. Van Kalsbeek qualified for state in cross country all four years, finishing among the top 20 runners each year. She was named all-state after placing 10
th at state as a junior and earned all-conference honors three years. Van Kalsbeek is a member of both the National Honor Society and high honor roll while planning to major in Accounting at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Brad and Carilyn.
"Micah is a welcome addition to our women's cross country team," said Northwestern Head Coach
Scott Bahrke. "She is a hard worker and a great teammate. Micah will help our women's team push for a conference title and to compete at nationals."
