Rounds To Play Football At Northwestern

Jahbreel Rounds (Wichita, Kan.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

Rounds is a 5'8", 165-pound safety who played two years for Wichita Northwest Highschool. Rounds accumulated 63 tackles, 39 solo, and 1.5 quarterback sacks in leading his team to a state runner-up finish with a 12-1 record. He forced 3.5 fumbles and earned all-conference honors last fall. Rounds plans to major in pre-Physical Therapy and also plans to compete in track and field at Northwestern. He is the son of Kubwa Rounds and Tonisha Wade.

"We are excited to have Jahbreel join the Red Raider football program," said Northwestern Head Coach Matt McCarty. "Jahbreel played for one of the top high school programs in Kansas and understands what it takes to be successful. He is a good athlete and playmaker."
