Logan Hoyt (
Plattsmouth, Neb.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.
Hoyt is a 6'0", 290-pound offensive / defensive lineman who played four years for Plattsmouth High School. Hoyt accounted for 133 pancake blocks on offense to go with 61 tackles and 9.5 sacks on defense, earning all-state honors as a senior. He was named to the Shrine Bowl and was elected to play in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl in Jacksonville, Fla. Hoyt earned all-conference and all-district honors three years and was voted the team's overall most valuable player as a senior. He helped lead his team to the state quarterfinals with a 10-1 overall record last fall. An honor roll student and academic all-state selection, Hoyt plans to major in Kinesiology / Sports Management at Northwestern. He is the son of Mike and Erin.
