Missouri O-Lineman Commits To Northwestern

Jack Ryan Johnson (Blue Springs, Mo.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

13122Johnson is a 6'1", 290-pound offensive / defensive lineman who started three years for the Blue Springs High School football team. Johnson helped lead his team to the class 6A state semifinals and a 9-4 overall record. He was part of a team that won three district titles and two conference championships. Johnson earned all-district honors twice and was named to the Jackson County Top 25 Players in both 2017 and 2018. An academic all-state selection, Johnson plans to major in Nursing at Northwestern.

"Jack is a powerful offensive lineman who comes from one of the top high school programs annually in Missouri," said Northwestern Head Coach Matt McCarty. "He is physical, has great size and will help us continue to play a physical style of football. We are excited to add Jack to our football team."
