Morris Hofer (
Onida, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next year.

Hofer is a 6'0", 195-pound running back and linebacker who played four years for Sully Buttes High School. Hofer earned both all-state and All-American honorable mention honors in leading his team to a state runner-up finish at the nine-man division. He rushed 134 times for 1,142 yards to go with 35 catches for 633 yards, totaling 21 touchdowns. On defense, Hofer recorded 57 tackles and was an all-area selection. An honor roll student, Hofer plans to major in Ag Business at Northwestern. He is the son of Kevin and Joan.
"Morris is another outstanding athlete in this year's recruiting class," said Northwestern Head Coach
Matt McCarty. "He is a dynamic playmaker who is a dual threat in the backfield. Morris was a dominant high school player who led his team to the state playoffs. We are really excited to have him continue his playing career at Northwestern."
