Jonah Hofer (
Bridgewater, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

Hofer is a 5'11", 170-pound athlete who played wide receiver, running back and defensive back for Bridgewater-Emery High School. Hofer accounted for 1,877 all-purpose yards and scored 27 touchdowns in leading his team to the class 11B state championship with a perfect 12-0 record. He rushed for 1,135 yards and 18 touchdowns, totaled 10 catches for 302 yards and five scores and also reached the end zone via kick, punt and interception returns. Hofer earned all-state honors and was named Argus Leader Elite 45 Honorable Mention as senior. A two-time all-conference selection, Hofer received academic all-state honors and is a member of the National Honor Society. He plans to major in exercise science or criminal justice at Northwestern and is the son of Jerry and Kristy.
