Men's Soccer Adds 4 to 2020 Roster

The Northwestern College men's soccer team has added to is recruiting class for 2020 with five more signings.
 
Joining the Red Raiders for the 2020 season will be Ezekiel Foltz, Jonas Tiensvold, Hunter Goins, and Joshua Crisell. 

Ezekiel Foltz - Goalkeeper- Iowa Central CC
Foltz
Native of Sioux Center, Iowa
Ezekiel spent the last year at Iowa Central after his four year career at Sioux Center High School under head coach Dan Van Ruler.  He was a part of a team that went 15-5 in the spring of 2019.  Zeke and his team finished third at the state tournament and he totaled 97 saves throughout the season.  While at Northwestern Zeke plans to major in Pre-Physician's Assistant.
Swier on Foltz: "We have had our eye on Zeke for a long time and we are glad that he is choosing to transfer to us after just one year of being at Iowa Central.  Zeke has been a top goalkeeper in the state in high school and with a year of college-level goalkeeping I think that he will transistion smoothly into our program."

Jonas Tiensvold - Midfielder - Prairie View High School

Native of Commerce City, Colorado
Jonas comes to us after a successful high school career at Prairie View.  Jonas can play a few different positions which is great for both him and us.  Jonas is yet to decide on a major but is excited by the idea of either business, chemistry, or kinesiology.
Swier on Tiensvold: "Jonas comes from a great family and really connected with his future teammates when he was here on campus.  I believe that he has the talent necessary to be successful in college and I look forward to working with him this fall."

Hunter Goins - Midfielder - Currituck County High School

Native of Mayock, North Carolina
Hunter spent his high school career Currituck County High School, where he was an all-conference player as a sophomore and junior. Hunter plans to study Physical Education at Northwestern. 
Swier on Goins: "Hunter has really shown us that he is ready for the college soccer game.  He is blessed with great size and looks to be a versatile player who can play anywhere on the back line. 

Joshua Crisell - Forward - Currituck County High School

Native of Coinjock, North Carolina
Joshua comes to us after spending his high school career at Currituck County High School.  While at Currituck, Joshua was a constant goal-scoring threat, scoring 48 goals in his four years as well as being named player of the year his senior year along with other top accolades. Joshua plans on studying occupational therapy during his time at Northwestern.
Swier on Crisell: "We are excited about the signing of Joshua because of his great track record of goal scoring.  We believe that he has the ability to impact our program in many different ways."
