The Red Raider Women's Soccer program signed Renecca Nichols to join their program in 2020. It is the program's fourth committed recruit of the 2020 class.

Nichols (Sioux Falls, S.D.) is a 5'6' forward and defender and current student of Washington High School. She has earned four varsity letters and has been the main contributor on her high school team throughout the years. She is a member of the Dakota Alliance Soccer Club and was a member of their regional teams. She has also been a multi-year member of the ODP (Olympic Development Program) in South Dakota.

Renecca is also a National Honor Society member and a winner of multiple academic awards along with the Circle of Courage award at Washington High School.



"We are very excited to have Renecca join us next year," commented head coach Ben Karnish. "She is a strong player who can play in multiple roles and she is a great teammate. She is very coachable and will thrive at the college level with her ability to learn on the fly."

Nichols plans to study Biology while at Northwestern.
