The Red Raiders (9-5-1, 6-3 GPAC) dismantled the Mount Marty College (3-7, 2-7 GPAC) offense Wednesday night, winning 3-0. 

The Raiders held the Lancers to only 2 shots the whole evening putting them in a great spot to take all three points.

The Raiders though could not break down the Lancers in the final third early on but were finally able to break through when Audrey Leyen back-heeled a ball to Nikky Farnsworth for a good back post finish. The 39th minute goal opened the attack for the Raiders.

Leyen would get her goal in the 67th minute after a scramble in the Lancer box and run through the ball for the finish.

Farnsworth would add her 2nd of the night and 14th of the season in 83rd minute off a great near post finish from distance.

"Mount Marty played hard tonight but we were patient in our attack and did well to take our chances at the right time to break them down," commented head coach Ben Karnish. "We did a great job defensively and did well in possession throughout and played a solid 90 minutes tonight."

The Raiders travel to Midland University Saturday afternoon for a 1pm kickoff.
