Women's Soccer Adds Three Recruits

Keslie Paul (Frisco, Tex.), Audrey Tacey (Snohomish, Wash.), and Molly Ryan (Belle Fourche, S.D.) have all committed to the Red Raider women's soccer program for the 2019 season.

Paul (Frisco, Tex.) is a 5'10'' midfielder/defender from Reedy High School and has earned three varsity letters. Keslie was a 2nd team All-District player, Defensive MVP and a captain in her junior year. Her senior season is just underway at Reedy. Paul is also a member of the National Honor Society and Key Club and has won many academic awards. She plans to study pre-physical therapy at Northwestern.

Tacey (Snohomish, Wash.) is a 5'4'' midfielder/forward and is coming off her senior season in which her team at North Creek High School went 28-8-2 and was a semifinalist in the region 4 tournament.  Audrey was a captain for her junior and senior years and was named honorable mention both seasons. She is a member of the National Society of High School Scholars and was nominated senior year as a Presidential Scholar Candidate. Tacey plans to study business communications while at Northwestern.

Ryan (Belle Fourche, S.D.) is a 5'3'' midfielder/forward and is a six-time varsity letter winner while attending Belle Fourche High School. Molly is a two-time South Dakota All-State player (junior and senior year) and was a three-time All-Conference player. Ryan was a state champion in 2014 and has won a team most outstanding award for five years of school soccer. She is also a 2018 Academic All-State award winner and a member of the National Honor Society. Ryan is undecided on her major.

"We are extremely excited to add Molly, Keslie, and Audrey," commented head coach Ben Karnish. "Each one of these young ladies exemplifies the type of player and person we want in our program. They are all leaders on their teams and in their schools and community. We are excited about our class coming in and these three women have really added to that excitement! We are looking forward to their impact here at NWC!"

The Raiders currently have 10 (2 transfers and 8 freshman) newcomers slated to join the program in the fall of 2019.
