The Red Raiders unseated the Jimmies of the University of Jamestown Thursday night, 36-12.
The night started off with forfeit in favor of the Raiders but loss via fall by
Noah Kryfka and a loss by decision, 10-6 by
Cole Mills put the Raiders in a 9-6 hole.
Dante Preciado would win a tough fought match 6-5 to pull the Raiders even at 9 and after that, the Raiders would never look back.
Blake Pomajzl won 9-5,
Andrew Null and
Haggen Meyer won by fall to put the Raiders up 24-9.
Bennett Sikkink would lose a tough match 3-2 and would lose via riding time.
The Raiders would end the night like they started it, with a forfeit in their favor.
Northwestern moves to 4-0 and 3-0 in the GPAC while Jamestown moves to 3-3 and 0-2 in the GPAC.
The Raiders will stay in North Dakota until Saturday where they will compete at the Tyler Plummer Open at Dickinson State University.
