The Vikings led 14-7 by the end of the first quarter, 17-14 at the half but fell behind for good after a Jimmies touchdown early in the third quarter. A field goal by VCS late in the third put the Vikings down one but another Jamestown touchdown and extra point pushed the deficit back to eight (28-20) with five minutes left.
