Karlveon Ford (
Pueblo, Colo.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

Ford is a 6'1", 225-pound defensive end who played three years for Pueblo East High School. Ford was part of two state championship teams, winning the title as a sophomore and junior. He totaled eight tackles, forced a fumble and three quarterback hurries in leading his team to the state playoffs as senior. A member of the National Honor Society, Ford plans to major in Business Management at Northwestern. He is the son of Carl and Onika.
"Karlveon has outstanding potential at defensive end," said Northwestern head football coach
Matt McCarty. "He has size, speed and is a gifted athlete. We are excited to see him grow and excel under the tutelage of coach Fernstrum."
