Justus Adams (
Brandon, S.D.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his track and field career at Northwestern College next fall.
Adams has competed two years for the Sioux Falls Christian track and field team heading into his final season this spring. Adams won the state championship, all classifications, in the 300m hurdles and finished as the state runner-up in the 110m hurdles as a junior. He holds the school record in both events, posting a time of 14.9 in the 110m hurdles and 39.3 in the 300m hurdles. An honor roll student, Adams plans to major in business at Northwestern. He is the son of Mike and Kim.
"We are thrilled to have Justus join our men's track & field team," said Northwestern head coach
Scott Bahrke. "Justus is a very talented hurdler who is just going to get stronger and faster at the college level. He brings a great attitude of serving others and putting the team above himself. We look forward to how he impacts our entire campus."
