Monday, March 19, 2018

Jerrod Searcey (Lincoln, Neb.) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next fall.

Searcey is a 5'10", 165-pound wide receiver and defensive back who played two years for East High School. Searcey accounted for 38 tackles on defense and totaled 16 catches for 221 yards on offense. An honor roll student, Searcey plans to major in sports management and exercise science at Northwestern. He is the son of Jeff and Deb.

"Jerrod is an outstanding addition to our program and campus community," commented Northwestern head football coach Matt McCarty. "He has good football instincts and has nice athleticism. Jerrod has great potential and is a good fit for our secondary."
