The Panthers have dropped three straight games and own a 3-13 overall record heading into Thursday afternoon. Since defeating both Southwestern Christian (2-1) and Langston (13-12) on March 3 and 9, they have lost to three GPAC teams, Hastings (5-1), Morningside (12-0) and Doane (8-7). York's other win this season was an 8-5 victory over Dakota State on Feb. 18.
Miller is in her fourth season as the Panthers head coach and is a former all-conference player at York. She returns a total of five starters (2 pitchers, 3 in offensive line-up) from a 2017 team that finished T11th out of 12 teams in the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference with a 3-17 record, 10-38 overall.

Northwestern is 11-4 overall and is earning votes in the NAIA poll for the first time in six years.
