Noah Ante (
Story City, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his football career at Northwestern College next year.
Ante is a 6'1", 215-pound defensive lineman who played three years for Gilbert High School. A two-year starter, Ante accumulated 47.5 tackles, a team-high 10 for a loss, and two quarterback sacks as a senior. Ante finished his junior season with 39 tackles and helped lead his team to a 6-3 record. A member of the honor roll, Ante plans to major in psychology at Northwestern. He is the son of Logan and Kris.
"Noah is an excellent addition to our defensive line," said Northwestern head coach
Matt McCarty. "He was an impact player for his high school team and we are excited to see what he can do under coach Fernstrum's (defensive line coach) tutelage."
