Jennifer Boeve (
Hastings, Neb.) has signed a letter of intent to continue her softball career at Northwestern College next fall.
Boeve is 5'8" infielder who has played for both Hastings Senior High School and the Nebraska Quakes Prime Mizuno travelling team. Boeve hit .543 with 21 extra base hits and 11 stolen bases in earning first team all-state and second team super state (all classes) honors for the second year. She holds several school records, including hits for a season, hits for a career, season batting average and career batting average. An honorable mention all-state pick as a freshman and sophomore, Boeve was selected to play in the Nebraska Coaches Association All-Star game. An outstanding student who is a member of the National Honor Society, Boeve plans to major in mathematics at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Jim and Traci.
"Jennifer is a great addition to our softball program," commented Northwestern head coach
Chris Nachtigall. "She comes from a tremendous high school and travel program where she learned to compete at high level. Jennifer is a hard worker, both on and off the field, and we are thrilled that she has chosen to attend Northwestern College in the fall."
