Bennet Schuiteman (
Clive, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue his track and field career at Northwestern College next fall.
Schuiteman has lettered three years in both baseball and track and field for Des Moines Christian heading into this final year. A 6'0" sprinter, Schuiteman is a two-time state qualifier, competing at the Blue Oval as a member of the sprint medley as a junior and in the distance medley as a senior. He earned all-conference honors, running the 200m in the sprint medley, last spring. Schuiteman has personal bests of 22.9 in the 200m, 51.6 in the 400m and 18'1 in the long jump. A member of both the honor roll and National Honor Society, Schuiteman plans to major in Biology at Northwestern. He is the son of Al and Rhonda.
