Louw to Play Softball at Northwestern

5176Haiely Louw (Story City, Iowa) has signed a letter of intent to continue her softball career at Northwestern College next fall.

Louw is a 5'7" utility player who has played two seasons for Roland-Story High School heading into her final season next summer. Louw hit .315 with seven doubles, one home run, and also posted a record of 8-1 with a 4.62 ERA in the circle. She earned second team all-state honors as a junior and was named first team all-conference and all-district for the second straight year. Louw  is a member of the top honor roll and plans to major in Pre-Pharmacy and Philosophy at Northwestern. She is the daughter of Adrian and Colleen.

"We are thrilled to have Hailey joining our program," said head coach Chris Nachtigall. "She is an exceptional student and can play all nine positions the of the softball field.  She is a great addition to NWC

Softball and the greater Northwestern Community."
